All week long the emails have been coming in, the little notes in PayPal, the quiet comments on the side from personal friends, your remarks in comments. Your confidence we could and would do this is why I jumped off the cliff Wednesday and got on the plane even before we were there.

Yes, there's the finances to travel to see President-elect Obama sworn in and the other events of the Inaugural. But more, what's personal is you've given us of yourself. Of money you donated which could have been used to save you time and energy, which probably took you time and energy to earn.
