A Disproportionate Response


Georgia has called for a cease fire and retreated out of separatist areas but the Russian attack is continuing.

OUTSIDE TSKHINVALI, Georgia, Aug. 10 -- The Georgian army, suffering massive casualties in the face of overwhelming Russian firepower, retreated from the breakaway region of South Ossetia on Sunday. And it appears, from several unconfirmed reports that Russia has run at least 8 attacks on a major Georgian pipeline providing oil to the rest of Europe.

Russia has stated officially that they don't believe the Georgians have retreated. They are asking for written pledges, and claiming war crimes.
