Dear GNB'ers, as promised... this cherry blossom moment brought to you from Nakameguro Tokyo. This is the canal street I live on. And for 2 1/2 weeks every year it looks like this, and is inhabited by revelers each night during what the locals call Hanami Season (translated as Blossom Viewing season)
It is quite lovely.
And with the coming of the blossoms Spring has truly arrived in my little corner of the big-umeboshi. What does spring look like where you are?
