Digby points out the removal of certain documents over at Family Security Matters, i suppose they realized they were being a little to honest about how they feel.
The wisest course would have been for President Bush to use his nuclear weapons to slaughter Iraqis until they complied with his demands, or until they were all dead. Then there would be little risk or expense and no American army would be left exposed. But if he did this, his cowardly electorate would have instantly ended his term of office, if not his freedom or his life.
"FSM" is a website for bedwetters who never really recovered from realizing the brown man is coming to get them. Barbara Comstock, Monica Crowley, Frank Gaffney, Laura Ingraham and James Woolsey are on the 'Board of Directors', besides noting the BLONDE people at the top of the page, you might notice one of the staff is this chucklehead:
W. Thomas Smith Jr. is director of the Counterterrorism Research Center of the Family Security Foundation... Former U.S. Marine infantry leader and shipboard counterterrorism instructor
I am not quite sure what a 'shipboard counterterrorism instructor' is, but it smells like complete bullshit to me and when did a laptop and a cheap pleather chair with the stuffing coming out become a counterterrorism research center? Besides its spelled 'Counter-Terrorism' junior. Not surprisingly they have a link to Lieberman's op-ed in the WSJ. Oh! there is a link especially for kids!
The danger from a terrorist attack is never more clear than when we look into the faces of our children
I'll say, thats so tru...wait! hunh?
Seaman Smitty, or as he is known on FSM, (pronounced fizm) "The Director" writes alot about the revolutionary war (ours.) Which is funny because when I read this in the piece that Digby saved:
This rage at President Bush is an inevitable result of the system of government demanded by the people, which is Democracy.
The inadequacy of Democracy, rule by the majority, is undeniable – for it demands adopting ideas because they are popular
It made me think of this quote:
Democracy is too prevalant in America, and claims the greatest attention to prevent its increase -- General Thomas Gage, Commander, British Forces, 1772.
Its enough to make a guy shave off his goatee, sigh. Do you think these people will ever get over crapping their pants on 9/11?
